PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS
Patch Test First
As individual skin types and sensitivities vary, we recommend performing a patch test before first use of any Royal Botanique product designed for application to the skin.
Apply a small amount of product to a discreet area of skin and wait 24 hours. If no irritation or adverse reaction occurs, continue using the product as directed.
Discontinue use immediately if you experience redness, itching, burning, swelling or irritation. If irritation persists or causes concern, we suggest you seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Safe Use
Products intended for application to the body are for external use only. Do not ingest or swallow any product.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, broken skin and irritated skin unless otherwise stated in the individual product directions.
If product enters the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Keep products out of reach of children and pets.
Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Always use products in accordance with the directions provided.
Parfum Oil Care
Royal Botanique Parfum Oils are alcohol-free, highly concentrated and formulated without the alcohol or ethanol commonly used as the carrier in traditional spray perfumes.
Only a small amount is required.
Apply Parfum Oil carefully and allow it to absorb fully before it comes into contact with clothing, jewellery, handbags, leather, upholstery, timber or other delicate surfaces.
Concentrated fragrance oils may stain fabrics or affect porous, painted, polished or delicate materials.
Many Royal Botanique products are packaged in glass bottles. Handle glass products carefully and avoid dropping or striking them against hard surfaces.
Home Fragrance Care & Safety
Royal Botanique home fragrance products are designed to fragrance your surroundings and should be used only as directed for their intended purpose.
Home fragrance products, including Reed Diffusers, Room Sprays, Travel Sprays and fragrance products intended for use with suitable aroma diffusers, are not designed for application to the skin unless the individual product directions specifically state otherwise.
Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth and do not ingest.
Keep all home fragrance products out of reach of children and pets.
Take care when using fragrance oils, diffuser liquids and sprays around furniture, painted or polished surfaces, timber, fabrics, leather and other delicate materials. Spills and concentrated fragrance products may stain or damage some surfaces.
Clean spills immediately in accordance with the care instructions provided with the product.
When using a Reed Diffuser, place it on a stable surface and take care when turning the reeds to prevent fragrance liquid from dripping onto the bottle label, furniture or surrounding surfaces.
When using an ultrasonic or aroma diffuser, follow the equipment manufacturer’s operating, cleaning and dilution instructions and use only products suitable for that device.
Store home fragrance products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

- failure to perform a patch test before first use of a product intended for skin application;
- use on skin with a known allergy or sensitivity;
- application to broken, damaged or irritated skin;
- use of a product for a purpose for which it was not intended;
- misuse, improper storage or unauthorised modification of a product;
- failure to follow the operating or care instructions of third-party equipment used with a Royal Botanique fragrance product;
- spills or contact between concentrated fragrance products and clothing, jewellery, leather, furniture, timber, painted surfaces, fabrics or other materials.
Nothing in this information excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
